THE MBM YEARS

Lewis Hamilton joined the MBM karting team at the beginning of the new millennium, racing alongside future Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg. Managed by Dino Chiesa and backed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren, MBM quickly became one of the most iconic teams in international karting. Driving CRG karts, Hamilton established himself as one of the fastest young talents of his generation. In 2000, he won the Formula A European Championship and competed against the world’s best drivers on the international stage. His speed, determination and aggressive driving style already stood out at a very young age. The years at MBM marked an important chapter in the early career of a future Formula 1 legend.

THE SACRIFICE

Behind every legendary racing career lies years of sacrifice, discipline and relentless dedication. During his time with the iconic MBM karting team, Lewis Hamilton established himself as one of the most talented young drivers of his generation. Traveling across Europe and competing at the highest level of karting demanded complete focus from an early age. This painting captures the atmosphere and emotion of those defining years before the world championships and international fame. The dark tones and details reflect the pressure, determination and mindset that shaped a future Formula 1 World Champion. A tribute to the foundations of a legendary career.
